SnowdonI first went to Youth Fellowship in the summer of '96 when I was invited to a Youth Service by my friend Paul. At that point I was regularily attending a Roman Catholic church, but had no beliefs of my own. In fact I went out of my way to convince myself and others that the whole 'God thng' was rubbish.
On walking into the service I was amazed at how many young people there were. I was astounded that they really believed and didn't just go because their parents told them too. I remember watching a funny drama, but it wasn't until the slow worship music started that I felt God 'move' in me. After the service I just knew that God was real and knew me personally.
Since then I've been much more secure, seen some amazing things, friends saved etc. But most of all, I've found the thing that was missing, that no amount of friends, parties etc, can bring.
